We were all smiles during our successful volunteer day at Kid's Meals, Inc.! We were honored to give back to our community by helping feed the 12,500+ kids they service. These free, nutritious meals are delivered directly to the doorsteps of children living at or under the poverty line.

LACEY, Wash., February 28, 2023 – Today, Harbor Wholesale, the West Coast's top family-owned, independent distributor, acquired the Seattle, WA Halfon Candy Company owned by 2nd generation owners Alan & Marie Scharhon.
Harbor Wholesale, a subsidiary of Lacey-based Harbor Foods, is expanding deeper into the California grocery distribution market with the acquisition of MTC Distributing.
Harbor acquired the 100-year-old MTC for an undisclosed sum in a deal announced last week. MTC is based in Modesto, California, and serves most of the state, as well as some locations in Nevada.
Aid from the community helps keep people fed, lifts them out of poverty, and gives young people a better chance for a brighter future.
Each year, we survey companies and nonprofits to quantify that generosity. This time, 78 reported their figures for 2021: In total, $217.3 million was contributed in cash and in-kind donations, as well as $3.3 million in employee donations and 78,692 volunteer hours.
